This playful romp is dedicated to and inspired by Pharoah Sanders, one of the truly great artists of modern jazz. This original piece is based on a riff from one of his songs, adapted and reharmonized into a unique cyclical form that keeps spinning, just like a Pharoah solo. Sax, bass, piano and drum solos each explore the form in very different ways.
